Not to be confused with professional footballer and top Ghana Premier League and Israeli Premier League goal-scorer of the same name, there is intriguingly little information available for the singer/songwriter/musician Sam Yeboah’s (almost) one-man-band burger highlife session, although the pedigree is impressive. Producer Osei Tutu was a mainstay of legendary Accra-based Bibini Records producer/promoter/ club owner Faisal Helwani, as well as producing classic sessions in Germany, London and Ghana from the likes of C.K. Mann, Ambolley, Kabbala and Sam’s Asona label-mate Nana Budjei. Osei was also a general creative force for Ambassador Records and Ghana Film Studios.
